Purpose: Education for Exultation

Worshipping Together With Our Minds

Deuteronomy 31: 9-13 tells us that the Word of God was taught to the people of God so that they would "Hear and learn to fear the Lord your God." This means that goal of our learning more about God is that He would be worshipped and glorified, and that in being worshiped and glorified He would be delighted in, treasured, and savored above everything else. That is why we say that the goal of education is worship, or exultation. God is magnified when our minds meditate upon Him as He has revealed himself in His Word.

We offer several classes for adult education each ministry season. See our current offerings below. To get involved, click the "sign up" link to email the group leader.

Old Testament Foundations: Moses and the Modern Mind (Israel in Egypt)

Moses revealed two great avenues in which God manifested his character and purpose: creation and the word. In the Book of Romans we will discover how forgiven sinners can be transformed into glorified saints through Moses’ revelation. The books of Moses are foundational to a true understanding of God’s will and work in the world. In the course of our study we will face many contemporary issues that challenge the modern mind. We will address many of those profound questions asked by believers over centuries. Our ultimate goal is to tap the spiritual resources of Moses’ words and understand his overarching message. Our prayer is that God will both engage our modern minds and anchor our eternal hopes in Him.
