God's sovereignty, predestination, election, and free will are all topics that will be explored in depth. Textbook - Putting Amazing Back Into Grace: Embracing the Heart of the Gospel by Michael Horton. Participants will need to obtain their own copy of the book.

Introduction to the Old Testament: Old Testament for Dummies (Audtorium)

 
An opportunity to get the big picture of the Old Testament and a nutshell understanding of its contents: key terms, verses, timelines, themes or purposes of each of the books. We will examine the relationship between the Old and New Testaments and the progress of salvation from Moses to Malachi to Christ. This will be geared toward beginners yet oriented for the more seasoned student of the Old Testament as well.

Shepherding a Child's Heart (Corner Room/Unit 1)

Using Tedd Tripp's book Shepherding a Child's Heart as our guide, we will discuss the vision, goals and strategies of parents in the discipleship of our children. The class is open to parents of all ages and involves BIble study, Q&A, and testimonies from elders and their wives. Topics include: Getting to the Heart, Shaping Influences, Authority, Communication, Discipline, and PArenting at Different Stages of Childhood. Participants should obtain their own copy of the book.

Last Words are Lasting Words (4th-5th Grade Classroom)

The final words of Jesus, declaring his will for his disciples, form a powerful pattern for us. This intimate upper room time of discourse, delivered just before his crucifixion, brings front and center the question, How is His life to be lived out in mine?

Children and Middle School

WOW kids is our Wednesday night program for nursery through middles school from 6:25-7:30 pm. All ages will continue their study of Proverbs called The Way of the Wise. In addition, toddlers and preschoolers will enjoy music, games, prayer and coloring sheets. Elementary and middle schoolers will rotate through 3 stations of Bible lessons, games and catechism/church history. For more information, contact Pastor Scott.
